Beginner Ashtanga - Level 1 (no experience required)
The Fundamentals of Ashtanga Yoga will be taught. Students will slowly become familiar with sun salutations, the standing sequence, and the first few seated postures of the Primary Series. Students will learn how to safely move in and out of the postures, and will be introduced to the basic elements of the Ashtanga Practice, such as the correct breathing and gazing points. The three fundamental closing postures will be taught in this class. The focus will be on longer holds and more detailed information on alignment.

Monday
7:30pm - 9:00pm with Sara Byers
Wednesday
7:30 - 8:45pm with Dana Blonde
Saturday
1:00pm - 2:30pm with a rotating teacher
Sunday
11:00am - 12:30pm with a rotating teacher
