I showed up at an Ashtanga Yoga class a little over six years ago. At the time, I could barely touch my knees when I folded forward. Over the years, I've watched the practice transform my body and mind. I've also seen it transform the lives of a lot of other people.
This practice has taken me around the globe a few times. I've been lucky to have a lot of great teachers over the years, including Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and his grandson Sharath Rangaswamy in Mysore, India, and Jeff and Harmony Lichty.
Ashtanga Yoga makes you flexible, strong and light. But it also does a whole lot more. If you do it, then you'll see. All you have to do is show up.
